Jiangxi Huadong Shipbuilding's two 7500DWT chemical tankers powered by B100 fuel have successfully commenced construction.

At 10:08 AM on April 28th, Jiangxi Huadong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held a grand launching ceremony for two 7500DWT oil and chemical tankers. The biggest highlight of these two vessels is the use of B100 biodiesel fuel for their main engines.

Singapore MOKARA SHIPPING The company plans to build a series of green energy vessels powered by B100 biofuel, which can effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet the requirements of Singapore's port area and the 30-nautical-mile area outside the port, while also reducing shipping costs. The launch of these two vessels marks a further deepening of the cooperation between Huadong Shipbuilding and Singapore MOKARA SHIPPING Company in the field of green energy, demonstrating Huadong Shipbuilding's firm steps in injecting innovative momentum into global green shipping.

The vessels launched this time have an overall length of 98.8 meters, a molded breadth of 17.5 meters, a molded depth of 9 meters, a design draft of 7.1 meters, and a cargo capacity of approximately 7500 tons. The design of this vessel type incorporates international cutting-edge shipbuilding engineering concepts, optimizing cargo hold layout and ballast systems, balancing transportation efficiency and environmental performance, making it a benchmark in the oil and chemical transportation field.
