Jiangxi's first LNG clean energy distribution and gathering vessel, "Chengma Xunyang," brings glory to Jishui.

  5 Month 16 On the morning of the day, with the whistles and cannons sounding together, Jiangxi Huadong Shipbuilding ushered in a historic moment —— Jiangxi's first LNG Clean energy distribution and collection dual-purpose vessel “ Chengma Xunyáng ” successfully launched! Rao Zhengyong, deputy county magistrate of Hukou County, and leaders from the municipal and county Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Commerce Bureau, Federation of Industry and Commerce, Navigation Administration Bureau, Maritime Safety Administration, financial institutions, Chengma Logistics, and Huadong Shipbuilding attended the ceremony and witnessed this milestone moment.

This vessel, with a total length of 119.8 meters and a width of 19 meters, LNG powered by 524 standard container ship, is named after Jiujiang's ancient name " Xunyáng " perfectly blending millennial cultural heritage with modern shipping technology. It uses clean and economical liquefied natural gas ( LNG ) as its power source, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 23% compared to traditional fuel-powered ships, truly achieving " zero black smoke, low noise, and high efficiency ” green navigation.

As a provincial-level military-civilian integration enterprise with LNG construction qualifications, Huadong Shipbuilding has always been committed to building a benchmark for high-end shipbuilding in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The launch of this “ Chengma Xunyáng ” vessel is a “ cultural + technological + economic ” three-in-one green giant, not only pushing Jiujiang from a “ traditional shipping hub ” to a “ green and intelligent shipping center ” upgrade, but also becoming a “ mobile business card ” for high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, leading the innovation of inland waterway shipping with low-carbon energy!
